If you are already playing a few notes or rhythms on an instrument, or if you just love to sing, you are welcome to come for a session to try it out and see if it will work for you. There are more experienced musicians in the group who might inspire you and show you what they have learned to do. We include the whole group in our jams and there is also the space to practice with one or two other musicians within the group.

Come and try out a session. After that we ask for you to commit to 12 week blocks so that the groups stays together for this time. At the end of each term there is a Showcase at The Barrel House, a brilliant music venue in town.

No. The group works towards performances but you don’t have to take part if you don’t want to. We encourage everyone to take part because it’s fun but if you really don’t feel you want to then that is ok.

Yes, singers are welcome to come and develop songs, harmonies and confidence in improvisation. It is great fun to sing with a backing band behind you.
